What are the prerequisites for joining?

To join Talked you must be a trained psychologist, counsellor, psychotherapist or social worker who can provide professional online therapy to a wide range of clients via Talked.

You must be a registered with one of the following regulatory bodies and meet our minimum membership requirements.

Membership Requirements

Psychologists - You must be registered with AHPRA (with no conditions) and the Psychology Board of Australia.

Counsellors and Psychotherapists - You must registered be ACA (level 3 or 4) or PACFA (clinical membership).

Social Workers - You must be a Mental Health Social Worker registered with AASW.

Insurance

You must have a minimum of $2 million in Professional Indemnity Insurance cover per claim.

You will be ask to provide supporting documentation of your membership and insurance periodically. You must also inform us if your circumstances change.
