Therapist profile badges

Therapists on Talked can earn badges for their profiles.

Badges are added to therapist profiles automatically when they meet certain criteria to give our clients as much information as possible about the therapists on the site. With hundreds of therapists to choose from, badges show key information to help new clients to make more informed decisions about their therapy than photos and price alone.

The therapist badges reflect the most common factors our clients have told us that they consider when looking for a therapist, such as consistency, experience and responsiveness.

Badges that are available to earn

100, 500, 1K, 5K, 10k Sessions

Therapists are rewarded one of these badges based on the number of sessions completed on Talked. Free consultations are included in the number of sessions.

Repeat Clients

This badge is awarded to therapists who create longer lasting relationships with their clients. It's based on the number of clients who return for follow up sessions. Free consultations are not included in the calculation.

Clients are often looking for a therapist with a history of creating long lasting and effective therapeutic relationships, so this badge can be highly important for clients when deciding on a therapist.

Please note, therapists who arrange follow-on sessions with clients off platform cause their clients to lose benefits such as automatic payments, refunds, sessions guarantees, support and security. We treat these incidences seriously and therapists who re-book with clients off platform are removed from Talked.

We understand that it is important to work with clients on an individual basis and we do not promote extending the length of therapeutic relationships when it is not in a client’s interests. All therapists are registered with either AHPRA, ACA or PACFA and bound by their ethical code and principles in this regard. The 'highly rebooked' badge is only one of many badges that influence how often a therapist's profile is recommended to new clients.

In Demand

This badge is awarded to therapists who have had more client sessions than the average over the last 6 months.

Very Responsive

The badge is awarded to therapists who respond to messages from clients in an effective and timely manner.

Super Schedule

Therapists who have rescheduled or cancelled very few sessions over the last 6 months are rewarded this badge. Reschedules and cancellations that are made by clients do not affect this badge.

Please note, clients book sessions with the expectation that the therapist is available at the given time. Reschedules and cancellations made by a therapist have a negative impact on the clients experience and often leads them to seek a different therapist. We highly recommend connecting your Google calendar to keep your availability up to date.
